Welcome to Lima 🇵🇪
We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with you in Lima!
If this is your first time visiting Perú, we hope this short guide helps you feel comfortable, excited, and ready to enjoy everything this beautiful country has to offer.
Weather in May
May is one of the best months to visit Lima. It’s fall, with mild temperatures.
Average temperature: 18–23°C (64–73°F)
Mostly cloudy mornings with pleasant afternoons
Light layers are perfect; bring a jacket for evenings
Where to Stay
We recommend staying in Miraflores, one of Lima’s most popular and convenient neighborhoods. It’s central, safe, and very walkable, with ocean views, parks, restaurants, cafés, and shops all around. Most importantly, any hotel in Miraflores will be a great option and will be close to the ceremony location. Some options are:
Casa Andina
AC Hotel Lima Miraflores
Aloft Lima Miraflores
Getting to Lima
Fly into Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM)
From the airport, use official taxi counters inside arrivals, or apps like Uber or Cabify.
Getting Around the City
The easiest and safest way to move around Lima is by app-based transportation like Uber or Cabify. We recommend avoiding taxis hailed directly from the street.
